Tilman exhibited three times at CCNOA. His first exhibition in 1999 in the CCNOA project room featured smaller and large site-specific paintings on paper. In 2000 his exhibition‘Transforms & Constellations’ in the two main CCNOA galleries featured a large site-specific wall/floor work, a selection of new two- and three-dimensional wall and floor works, and a series of works on paper. This exhibition wias accompanied by a 46-page full-color catalogue with texts by Kristian Romare and Joan Waltemath and his first multiple ‘Eckstück, Gelb’ (‘Cornerpiece, Yellow). In 2003 Tilman conceived a large three-dimensional spatial intervention, entitled ’F218B-BXL’, including a video as well as a sound work by Belgian composer Johan Vandermaelen. This exhibition was accompanied by a new multiple. A publication of this collaboration, featuring a DVD as well as a poster with images and an essay by Rene Kockelkorn in four languages was released in November 2004.
Tilman also participated in the CCNOA organized group exhibitions ’From Rags to Riches’, ’WOP’, ’2step’, and ’minimalpop’.
